Agreement to Terms

By using Lazy Steven or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. It's that simple — no hard feelings.

Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. A few ground rules:

• One account per person — no sharing login credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use Lazy Steven.
• Keep your email address up to date so we can reach you if needed.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of the recipes and content you create on Lazy Steven. By sharing a recipe publicly, you grant other users the right to view and remix it (with attribution back to you). You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload — don't post someone else's work without permission.

AI-Generated Content

Lazy Steven uses AI to help you create recipes, estimate nutrition, and more. A few important things to keep in mind:

• Recipes and nutrition estimates generated by AI are approximate and for informational purposes only.
• AI-generated content is not medical or dietary advice.
• Always use common sense with food allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Nutrition figures are estimates, not guarantees — if precision matters, consult a professional.

Acceptable Use

We want Lazy Steven to be a positive place for everyone. Please don't:

• Spam or flood the platform with junk content.
• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Attempt to access other users' private data or accounts.
• Abuse the AI features (e.g. trying to bypass rate limits or generate non-food content).
• Use the service for anything illegal.
• Scrape or bulk-download content from the platform.

Shared Cookbooks

When you invite others to your cookbook, you control their access level (Viewer, Editor, or Manager). You're responsible for managing who has access to your cookbook. All members must follow these terms — if someone you've invited misbehaves, you can remove them from your cookbook at any time.

Intellectual Property

The Lazy Steven brand, the Steven character, and the overall app design are our intellectual property. Your recipes are yours — we don't claim ownership over anything you create.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Lazy Steven running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Things break sometimes. We may also modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We'll do our best to keep you in the loop.

Limitation of Liability

Lazy Steven is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for recipe outcomes, dietary issues, or data loss. Use the service at your own risk — and always taste as you go.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If you'd like to leave, you can delete your account anytime from Settings. We'll remove your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Lazy Steven after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
